 My girlfriend and I are already engaged but I thought I would use her as my model for this shot. Its also me putting the ring on her while taking the shot with a macro lens (vivitar 55mm macro - M42 fitment with adapter).

Its not a great shot by any means and I don't expect it to do well but I still liked it for a last minute idea/entry.

Editing: Cropped a little, brightened a little with levels, adjusted colour balance a touch to tone down the yellowish of ths skin. denoised, sharpened, resized and added borders.

Nice lighting and choice of crop. I may have chosen to have the man's finger not be on the diamond so it could be more prominent.
