Hubby and I went to a livestock auction we've always wanted to go see. (It was his suggestion, the day of rollover!)

There were many cows... they were a bit crowded before going into the pen for auction, but really... none seemed in distress.

I don't think they have any "personal bubble" as we humans do.

I enjoyed photographing them. They were very interesting to me.


Ha! tangueraI think these young bulls were being sold to have sex with any cow they saw in sight.
-- no need to go off meat. They're, most likely, living happily ever after. :D

Fascinating, Lydia. I went to one of these in my late teens, and saw this EXACT same scene - except the little one looked straight up at me. I never ate meat again.

I gave ya a 7, loved the way the lights and darks contrasted each other. Love the texture of the fur. We were almost neighbors =)
