 This shot only took about two hours to get. It was only when I took the external flash off the Hotshue that I could get this with out a glare off the background. This is one of my better photos. Slow shutter speed with an apperture closed way down to F11 controlled the amount of light which brought out this nice shot. Bounced the flash off the cieling the first few times. Then decided to elevate the flash way high and point direct at the subject. Had to use a slow shutter speed to control the manual flash I was using.

You must work for an advertising agency...very well done. Excellent layout and love the way the background and foreground colors interact in the 4 glasses.

Beautiful setting. Great imagination. Beautiful glasses. Hmmmm, they're hummingbirds. Wonder if that means anything. I wonder. My only complaint, and I really hate to say this because it's my favorite color, but the background is almost too dark for the bottle. Either a lighter shade of blue, or a lighter bottle. The beautiful bottle gets lost in the background, and the bottle in itself is beautiful. This knocked you down from a 10 to an awesome 8. PTL

I'm not sure symmetric works well with still life. Maybe I'm wrong, there are always exceptions. Regards to this, it's not one of them. This is not a bad one but I think the composition is too straight forword.

This is really nice! It looks like a photo in a catalog or travel brochure. I really like it! Very elegant.

I'm usually not turned on by these type of pictures, but this one is really well done. great touch with the decorations at the base of each item and great composition. i think the background completes the image. 9 goodtempo
