 The sky was SO spectacular last night, I just ran out and took pictures of it. The color version is likewise lovely but I thought the b/w created a more conceptual image, which would not feel quite so much like a shoehorn :-)

What the heck is this doing with a 5.3?? Wonderful image -- one of my favorites of the challenge. I guess for some voters you should have replaced the palm tree with a cello or something. Thanks for the creative entry.

what an awesome interpretation, especially for those who have seen Dudamel "in action". A baton with his hairdo! And the sky, with clouds which look like his angelic wings. Not voting on this shot, but at least I can fave it.

Interesting, I didn't know this Dudamel guy, and still can't judge how well this might portrait his conducting style. Still, an excellent capture, composition and PP.

If I were presented with this image... apart from the "Music" challenge... and with no title... I don't think I'd have come up with "music" even with a hundred guesses.

But... apart from the challenge, I like this. :)

And... but... *grin*... with the challenge topic and the title, I see it... but only with the title.
