Nice monochromatic effect with minimalist background. Eyes are right into the camera, and the offset adds interest. About the only nit I see on this is the lighting is casting a weird shadow on the left side of his face.

I was told to be wary of tight mouths when shooting portraits. But could we have gotten that smile otherwise? Nice exception.
