This was a stray cat that came up to my car when under a bridge taking some pictures. This cat was very small, very cute, so I gave it some food. The stare this cat gave me just made me fall in love...I go visit him every so often.

to take me home.

You captured great detail on the eyes and face. And that stare. That full on stare at us is trying to measure whether he should run for it or *allow* us to approach. It is a stare that is sizing us up; measuring us. One that speaks that if you are entertaining the thought to take him home it would be foolish. For he, not you, will choose if he stays or runs off to roam.

Hunt was good for tribe of Grog. Females are full and fat, younglings have much to grow strong. Grog have delishus mammoth rib for dinner. Kitteh look at Grog with big sorree eyes and ask for leftovers.

Yes, we see a lot of animals portraits but this one is really good. The shallow depth of field conveys all the energy towards the wonderful eyes.
