I am a big still life fan and I really like the bw; only nit pik is that I can't tell if the fruit are real or not (a little shiny). Nice perspective and mood. (voted earlier)

I like it a lot. The dramatic lighting works very well. Maybe the bottom is too dark.

A still life by someone that looks like they know what they are doing with light. Not the most interesting subjects but the light is used well to capture all the different surfaces from the smooth vase to the slightly textured pear. Exposure is spot on to show just a hint of texture in the wooden surface too! Well done

Life harvests the light
lines sprout as fruit takes shape.
The cupboard yields its bounty
of bottled essence
beside three pears.

The lighting on this still life is fabulous - the B&W dynamic tones are excellent and it calls the eyes attention to the shapes and textures.

Your pears look to be made of glass as well. Light shows off the shapes very nicely! Maybe just a wee bit more light sneaking in on the right or behind to separate that side of the bottle from the background.

A little too dark and flat for my taste, a hint of fill light from the right would have given off a better result in my opinion.
