 Of course this is the set up of Al Capone's cell at the E>S>P> (Eastern State Penitentiary) in Philadelphia Pa. One of the easiest shots I've ever taken. Just dropped down on the ground.....my shirt slides up....tummy touching cold stone floor which sent shivers up my body forcing me to snap the shutter.......was way harder to get up than to fall down......as I wanted to keep staring into the cell..........I get fixated on looking at things until I actually see......

if any more of you ever go there....you will see what a cool place this is.....I have a better shot of one cell block in my portfolio......which enabled me to play around and figure out how "not" to blast whites........a wonderful venue for newbies like me..... thanks to NikonJeb for taking me there.....I balked and balked and gave in.....now I really "get" the abandoned old building and rusty car thing....... but I didn't really want to. I like the abstract shapes in old things......but this scenario seems to please.

this one screams for a cat curled up or something living in the well lit chair. great processing. love the tonality. gl. 8.

It'd be lovely if you had a person in that chair in the corner, it'd make for a wonderful portrait, feels a bit sterile this way. Wonderful light otherwise.

like the atmosphere here, id like to see it maybe a little lighter i wonder how many interesting textures and deatils are getting lost in the shadows

Nice shot, but I think it could have been lit better, a rather subtle "fill light" from the cameras angle would have done wonders by adding some texture to the things in the foreground, without destroying the dramatic lighting coming from above.

Very atmospheric and great use of the light though if you'd cropped off the light opening (versus tried to edit out the intensity of the light) the image would still have worked.
