 I have hardly taking any photos in 2011 with my dslr's so it was hard to find anything to enter. Was not going to bother but thought I had to make an effort. This is the result, nothing special at all but I liked this American style diner in Winchester and the owner was more than happy for me to snap away. I predict a 5.1 > 5.4, let's hope the voters are generous !

As much as I love black and white, and as much as I comment to the effect of "lose the color," I think you might have thrown the baby out with the bathwater here. The patterns are certainly interesting. Maybe a brighter monochrome would work better. It's rather dark.
