| Nice image. Without the explanation of "Lighthouse", or even with it, I didn't come up with "hope". Guess I did after thinking about it for awhile. It's just not that clear. |

| But for the title I couldn't have figured out that this was a lighthouse, and would have had a hard time seeing how a nice picture of a nondescript tower represented hope. Maybe a less steep angle, less light/glare on the left side of the tower and a light beam from the top of the tower cutting through the air, and this picture would have been stunning. |

| Good shot. The texture is a little too grainy for my liking and the lighting just a little too harsh, but sometimes we just do the best with what we have. There is something about the photo that keeps drawing my attention. Nicely done! |

| Lighthouses usually do convey hope. However, the lighting and angle of this picture make the lighthouse seem forbidding. |

I'd love to understand your thought processes connecting lighthouse with hope. I'm really struggling with it.
However, as a lighthouse image I find this really excellent work, great tonal quality and composition.
now how do I mark this ... I may have to come back when I've seen the rest. |
