Ok -- this is an example of my changing things up. :)
I decided it's time to break out of my mold a little more. So if there's a challenge where I have no ideas, or a challenge that I really don't like, I figure it's my time to really change things up.
I like a sports challenge, it's just that I didn't really have any good opportunities. I did have a difficult opportunity. Indoor kids basketball game with very bad lighting.
Here are the couple that I liked:
 
But I thought I'd try to work things from a different angle. So we went to our neighborhood park that has basketball courts, and my 12 year old shot some hoops.
Let me tell you -- it's very scary lying underneath the hoop with a very expensive camera, and a relatively expensive lens, having your 12 year old shooting baskets! Those basketballs can do some damage! I was continuously cringing, even though he kept trying to tell me that he'd be able to stop the ball from hitting me.
Only one did. Luckily I was able to block it with a forearm. :)
It was a massively cold day, I was frozen solid, and had great fun.
Thanks for the great comments and score. There are some really awesome shots in this challenge, so I have no idea how this will end. But I was surprised that it was doing so well. What a fun way to start changing things up. My next attempt was on 50 ways to leave your lover, and it's .8 behind. I guess it's just beginner's luck on this one. :)

| Beautiful shot. Didn't you recently lament that you were not very creative? Look at your last three entries. All three were very creative concepts that were creatively shot and processed. All three in the top ten. I guess the rest of us would really be in trouble if you were actually creative. ;) |
