 Last minute entry. Not my best of 2011 at all, just too tired/busy to process anything else. Won't do well at all, especially considering the quite spectacular chromatic aberration around the head feathers. If it gets over 5.75 I'll consider myself well pleased.

After ~200 votes, this image is sitting at 6.5, which is just silly. I honestly don't know how voters are overlooking the horrible green chromatic aberration around the head feathers! Can only guess some have not noticed it, or some are not voting me down for it.

Irrespective, I'm shocked at the score, given the fact that it was a last minute entry and that I never really liked it. Thank you all for the generous comments!

Great IQ and feather detail. Not liking the shade on his eye and the lack of colour or catchlight there. The green tinge (Chromatic Aberration?) around his head looks like it was masked and a new BG placed there but probably just the lens battling with the the high contrast.

look at those details, might be a bit over sharpened. you have some artifacts surrounding the head.

Nice image, the wing on the left looks unnatural... maybe more body in the frame could have kept it from looking slightly funny.
