 Dripped some wax onto a bottle, then let a candle burn down. Shot against a large piece a cardboard printed with a dark solid ink, with some overhead CFL lights and some diffused sunlight coming from behind in the upper-right.

-Tripod, timer, manual mode
-Manual focus
-Focal Length 52.8mm (35mm EQ) plus close-up lens
-Curves Red and Blue Channels
-Isolate Blue Channel to Grayscale
-Resize
-USM at 66%/0.6 dia/TH = 5 (applied twice)
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 10/10 = 274KB
