A hibiscus flower in my garden. I set a high shutter speed to combat the wind and was happy with the sharpness of this shot. The flower was actually swaying in the breeze when I took it.

Hi Pam, I have to admit, I never noticed the damaged petal until you mentioned it. I'll have to be more observant :)

This is really nice! The colors and contrast from the background really make the flower pop from the screen! very nicely done!

I love the colors of the hibiscus! Also, the curvature of the pistel is quite lovely.

The shapes in the background do a great job of highlighting the flower too!
