I wanted to have a person be helpless and bound by computer cables, illustrating the dependence we have on technology. The voice and eyes missing represents not being able to say or see certain things due to government restrictions.

This is three shots. Me in the chair, the sidewalk and my back desk. I used the perspective tool to create the walls and floor and blended them together with layer effects. The wire is a solid color layer with layer effects with the wires masked out.

I wanted to add a bit more blending where the wires meet the arms, but ran out of time. I have a copy with these additions I will upload at the challenge completion.

I am surprised this is holding up so well. At 90 votes it's a 6.95.

Now with everyone's comments I realize I may have gotten over a 7 if I had rushed and gotten those wire shadows and blending taken care of!

Solid concept and pretty well executed. The cords need a bit more shadow and indentation where they poke into the skin, but still a very strong visual statement.

This is almost so perfect. Clearly reminiscent of Neo in Matrix, great tones, colors, concept. The only place it falls short is where the wires insert into the skin. Just being super picky because this is otherwise excellent.
