Taken during a shoot with the lovely Laura W. I have done several shoots with Laura now and she is a delight to work with and always works hard to create great images.. I hope you like this one I have chosen for the best of 2011 as much as I do.

Editing: Cropped the image, adjusted brighness and contrast using levels, cloned out a couple of marks on the models leg (a spot and a little scratch), denoised a little using topaz denoise 4, sharpened using topaz sharpen. Mirrored the image and then resized.

I,m not sure why but this doesn't really work for me. I think the pose is wrong and the lighting too harsh.Nice clean shot and lovely model seen here before I think.

Bit unsure about that right hand position, but I'm sure it's fine.

gorgeous lighting and lovely girl, but feel the ol' hand on the haunch is done to death.

Great exposure with all that white. Not a fan of her pose....the hand looks odd on her backside.

good tones, i find the wood in the top right a bit distracting though,...

It's funny, when I saw her, I thought she looked Scottish. Great colors. I just wish the white sheet extended to block out the out of place wood at the top right.

Nice lighting, exposure, and detail. I find the large expanse of leg in the left foreground and headboard triangle in the upper right very distracting. IMO, the focal point (where my eye is drawn first) is to the left of her left hand. Her left eye has a dark spot between it and the eyebrow, and her expression says she can't wait to get out of there / or that she's bored. Probably my favorite part of this shot is her dark hair against the white pillow case and her arm.

@_@!! The right hand make this capture extra ordinary :)

liking everything but the pose, as a result i cant seem to gauge the intent of the image.

Punctuation counts. *sigh*

"Scotland's Finest"

But (butt) still... it looks like she's scratching her behind.

I do love the light... That's really well done.

Actually, if I hold my hand up over her right hand (which I did)... I love the entire image.

C'mon she's not a fiery redhead, she looks Italian :) Perfect WB and tones.

Lighting makes this seem sterile. For how the model is presented, I think moodier lighting (more shadows surrounding her, less light) would have made this more alluring. Just one opinion of course.
Pose is fine, like the eye contact. Perhaps consider the framing a bit more as to not have the wood flooring show.

Feels sort of forced, hurried, accidental. I'm thinking that I like it.
