 The Olympus doesn't really do well in low light situations. I don't use a flash often because I haven't got a clue about what to do with it :D So I usually push my OLY with high ISO's. The bad thing is that the noise is just crazy bad.

So I had this idea. Why not combine the 1.4x with my OM 50mm and see what kind of shots I can get during the indoor games.

I chose the 50mm because I can get an f 1.8 out of it. I think however in this case I used an f 2.8, but it's better than anything else I can get from my other lenses.

I'd say that overall the results weren't too bad. I did use some Topaz Denoise and Topaz Detail on this but still I'm pleased with the result. My exif says i used ISO 800 and I thought I used the ISO 1600. I'm going to try and use this set-up again with ISO 1600 and see what happens next.

Good tryptich -- the top one is quite interesting because it almost seems like the guys in the back are having their own thing going on and they don't even see the ball!

I like the way you presented these shot together and the drop shadow of each photo. Also, like the selection of shots. looks like a good rebound!

He's not jumping this week, but cool move nonetheless! I like the collage idea...kind of like a mini-mini movie!

Excellent work! It isn't always about the bestest with the mostest. I learned this early on in my film days with a f/1.4 50mm and a 80-200 f/slow :) That's all I had for years!
