 I am not entirely pleased with this entry, but here I am entering it. I like the sweeping railing and Chicago skyline in the background. I am not crazy about the vast expanse of ice. It's a shame it was not all melted and then I could have gotten some pretty reflections.

I would have shot more, but the weather was not cooperative. Actually, that is probably a cop out. A good photographer can find an interesting image regardless of the weather.

Beautiful cityscape at night. Love the details, the tones and the composition. That rail serves as a great leading line, drawing the eye right to the heart of the city. The strong contrast of the snow against the dark backdrop and the entire scene is just very nice. No distracting elements that I can see, this is top scores here.
