 Pretty much advanced edit here - with the exception of adding some image area to the right side.

I really have no idea how this will go over. I recently started playing hockey again after 22 years or so and it is the best thing I've done (with the obvious exceptions of starting a family, not killing anyone, not killing myself, keeping a job, keeping out of jail, etc.)

Anyway, this is a bit on the corny side and a bit misleading since I'm really not that tough ;) Just used an cable-attached SB600 behind a big diffuser and started messing around while wearing my hockey stuff . this was all started about 2 hours before deadline so there was no real problem solving here - just tried to get a good angle and POV - exposure is easy with this camera / flash. I was able to max out the aperture since the flash was so close. I was pretty much in the dark for this.

Is that cage like part of a Strait Jacket? They finally got you! :-) Nice photo really emphasizes face. ADDED: Could've used a spray bottle of water to imitate sweat.

I know this is for hockey and all but I just keep thinking you might be using this to protect yourself from your kid's rocks. lol sorry. The pose and lighting tho really is perfect for that sport. Good shot.
