The light falls softly upon your model illuminating her beautifully. You are well on your way to achieving your goal for the New Year's resolution Allen (and I see that you have changed your user name towards going professional in the direction). Also you have an excellent mix of colors in the composition the white of the hat and the reds in the fan & top really pop visually off the black backdrop. Congratulations on your well deserved yellow.

Very nice Allen! The light on her is so beautiful. I've been trying to learn some lighting techs, and have to laugh because I was thinking to myself, the softbox must have been large to get that type of wrap and coverage. then I sew you comment.. 74"...:o) Nice!

This happens to be my first image that comes up for voting but just brezzing thru the thumbnails this one looks destined for the front page. Lovely lighting. Comp is top notch. Processing is not over the top and looks very natural. I love how the curves of the hat make the pattern just vanish into the black BG.

I'm not keen on the model's expression as I don't think she looks remotely comfortable. Other than that, lovely photo; I like the styling and colours, good composition, great light, nice and sharp.
