Thank you all! Glad you liked it.

Not extremely inspired for that challenge, but I thought some fun was not a bad option. I bought a cheap disguise, some make up, tomatoes, and that was it.

The longest part was to hang the tomatoes to the ceiling, using black threads and wooden sticks: adjusting their position in the frame was a pain. Processing was quite minimal, just cloned out the said threads, added some contrast, some dodge & burn here and there.

Lighting details:
- Large softbox from the upper right, to light the tomatoes
- Snoot from upper left on the clown
- Bowl+Grid+Red gel as a backlight

Now the remaining question is, what to do with that disguise? :)

Just a thought remembering your shots with the TS lens... maybe it would have been interesting to close in on the tomato and add some distortion, could go well with the clown suit :). Nevertheless, well done, congrats on the ribbon!

Thanks for your comment! It is hard for me to use my TS lens in my home studio, since its focal length is 17mm: my back wall is too narrow, unless I put the lens very close to it. Yes, I know, I need a bigger studio ;-)

You bought a disguise for this challenge?? (kidding) Well thought out and executed image Christophe. Knew this would place high, just didn't know how high! I'd say keep the costume for a future re-make challenge. Congrats on the Red.

Congrats on the red, Christophe...and as for what to do with the outfit, hell I'd keep it with all your other props and disguises so you can use bits and pieces of it for future shoots. Fun shot!

christoph, nice i like the effort in this and getting made up as a clown must have been fun, one thing that i notice is the apparent perfection of the other tomatoes yet the imperfections of the one in focus. nice trademark gradient light on the backdrop
