 When I saw this man, I don't want to commit mistake and it seems he is friendly so I tried to approach and asked nicely. he definitely said yes.

- ambient light. no refelector

I like the BW treatment a lot, with the exception of the eyes.

I think this is a great photo. I love the black and white and think it really adds to the photo. I'm a little at odds with the eyes. At first I thought it was some photoshop effect, but then I realize it was just a busy area behind the photographer. Really great shot. 8

The eyes seem overdone and unrealistic for a b&w photo. This technique may work better in color, but it looks alien-ish here. All other aspects of the portrait are excellent.

shame about the eyes, they look very fake and other pp'd oherwise would have been a great shot, think its the lack of pupil definition thats ruining it for me, still way above the majority of the challenge though, nice work 8

Overdone on the eyes, they look fake and pasted in. The face is also a bit too sharpened for my taste.

Very striking. The lighting is diabolical, but I think you did him a disservice by overdoing the eyes.
