 For the Jan 2012 Blur Side Challenge.

A local pond. The water was basically very still, but a slight breeze occasionally stirred the surface. 0.3 sec exposure.

Taken during an outing to familiarize myself with the recently acquired 70-200 f/2.8L lens.

Lovely colors... wonderful reflection and blur - just the idea that the blur may have been a result of the breeze intrigues me.

Now, that's a beauty... The layering of soft on crisp, saturation on gauziness, is delicious. It's like a Napoleon of an image.

Interesting that you say that because just as I was posting it I thought "I wonder how this would look flipped vertically?" But it was late then and I have not tried it yet. Dec FS will take precedence today!
