 Had this idea in my head so searched and was so pleased to find there was a user with the name "photopainter" .. i thank you for joining.. lol

Photo created by first editing a modelling shot i had took so it had part of it white and missing.. I then printed this on 6x4 photo paper and got my girlfriend (Purple_Girl) to hold it with one of her makeup brushes against the photo.. Lighting provided by my flashgun bounced off the ceiling, backdrop is my living room wall.

Editing (in corel paintshop pro x4) involved cropping, adjusting brightness and contrast using levels, slightly adjusted overall colour balance, cloned out a few very small marks/scratches on my girlfriends hands (from our pet rats lol) & a small print mark of black ink on the photo, selectively changed the colours of the bristles on the brush to give the impression its a magic colourful paintbrush (by using colorize filter). I then resized and sharpened a little for the challenge.

Interesting idea, and the multicolored bristle in the paint brush is a great addition.

Oh. Ribbon. oh...errr... I think the background will keep this from ribboning, actually. It's just so bland. The rest... perfect! 8

Clever shot :) so, did you have the image idea and then find the username or see the username and think about the image? The colours on the brush finish the shot nicely :)
