Haunting. This is by far the most beautiful image of the bunch, I keep thinking about it even at work! In a challenge full of what I consider DNMC (IMHO, because not one TS-E lens was used and all effects were PP), this one stands out because it does not seem to take a feeble attempt at faking the funk. Just a lovely image, stays with the viewer, captures interest (I was forced to look up the title, "beautiful game," right? and though generally in reference to football to hell with that I think this better exemplifies the phrase!), stirs the imagination, and evokes powerful memories of childhood fancy and whim. Art in every sense, thank you for sharing your vision with us. You remind us what photography is all about. I'm sorry I didn't vote because if I did you would have one more 10.

Escapism. Exuberance. Irrationality. The tickle at the base of the brain when we remember a spectacular moment of joy in our lives. A most splendid vision. |

It's Cape Town's main commercial shipping port visible in the background. Also Table Mountain on the left (mostly offstage), Lion's Head centre, and Signal Hill to the right. It's a full house. |

This was my favorite image of the challenge. While I would have loved to see it get a standard site ribbon, I'm glad to see it got plenty if PH recognition. Stunning shot. |

I didn't vote in this challenge, but this would surely have been a high score from me. It's wonderful. Truly a successful image. |

Sorta bummed this scored so low, I actually thought it was going to do quite well, since I think it has a nice mix of readily digestible bits mixed into the quirkiness that defines it.
The flying bird and the excellent vignette are great. |

I relish the association between the mountain shapes and the people, and the industrial against the sea/bird/reflection. A continuous journey from light to dark and back again with an enduring sensitivity to life. |

I love the image. Not sure I get the tilt shift so much, but that may be my ignorance of the topic. So, I will assume that is the case and cast a vote based upon the dreamy nostalgic mood of your sweet image. Nice shot. |
