 Selective focus but no miniature so not likely to score well. I blurred the wind surfer on purpose, I wanted the focus to be on two kite surfers sharing the same kite ;)

You didn't deserve such low score but still the blur in this image doesn't work and it's not a matter of non miniature. IMHO this kind of blur doesn't match with water, it creates a strange view, especially because you transition was too hard. But surely i can be wrong.

I don't care for the unnatural angle of the blur. It feels contrived, and doesn't seem to improve the image. If it were used more like a shallow DOF, I think it might be very effective for this scene.
