 Little Willie was a chemist,
Little Willie is no more.
What he thought was H2O,
Was H2SO4.

Nothing inspires more than little rhymes; or is it the truth?

Ha? Must be my lucky week! I'll frame the little piece of flimsy paper found in an old manual for chemistry that I bought in Paris. (No, I did not destroyed it - it's a copy.) And the rhyme is not mine, I am not so bright; just part of my inspiring collection.

Thank you all for this great outpouring of kind words. Me? a ribbon? something must be rotten in the State of NY.
Well, got a 7 from Don so all is still well.
Paul, I loved the Galileo connection. Although in my mind was probably more Paracelsus.
This was my 107 challenge ... 1+7=8 which is ruled by Uranus which is .... a kind of momentum.

Congrats on the Ribbon!! I had to go look couldn't believe you didn't have lots more, your pix's have been some of my very favs as of lately!!

AND OMG a little willy lymiric, I use to know thousands of those, now alls I can think of is the last part of one, Willy ate some mercury...
