Model is Guðrún Dögg, first time photographing her, the makeup is by Iðunn Jónasardóttir.
Me and Iðunn have been planning a "metal" makeup photoshoot since last summer, we finally found time this week to shoot it, and when this challenge came up it was a nice coincidence. I am sure this will not do well in this challenge, I personally think this is a bit of a stretch with matching the challenge, as there is no metal in this picture and the challenge specifically said "If it's made of metal, you can photograph it for this challenge.". Who knows, maybe I´ll be pleasantly surprised, it has happened before :)
Anyway, don´t care about how it does, just hope some of you will like it. This is actually the right part of her face, I flipped the image as I thought it looked better that way compositionally. |

I gave this a 9 and it was my pick for the blue. I agree with Lydiatoo regarding the eye being placed on the third but I think the border sets the image off nicely. |

I'm glad I studied this image for a few extra minutes to see the eye color. |

Well done. I love that you carried the idea through and greyed out the pupil. |

fantastic portrait - the steel color of her eye is the perfect touch to really take this to a new level |

The border is what most will complain about... (and I agree)... but golly! It's wonderful without the border! I'd have cut the top off a bit (just below the "wispies" and just above that small dot of metal)... to put the eye at the third...
Still, I think this is so well captured that it will do quite well. |

Okay... THIS is an amazing image. The desat on the eye is perfect... it's a very powerful, sexy image... this will do well! |
