Yeah I'm beginning to understand embarrassing. My science shot is holding steady at a 5 but, I was happy to go through the process of shooting the microscope and processing the photo, as I learned a lot from doing it. Which is exactly what I need to do if I'm going to become a better photographer. Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful family.

Congrats on your top 10 Garry. Great result. I still believe it's a top 4. I think back on how you scrambled to get this entry in on time... what can you do with a planned sober shot(monastery shoot)??? Pissed you didn't entry the science challenge you wussy. Steel up Man!

Lol - that's exactly what I'm doing, but in Taiwan, not China. :) Thanks for the encouragement!

Actually I prefer the black and white with no selective desaturation. I also put a vignette on it, which I forgot to do with this one. :)

Actually it was at break time. I dropped the balloon from two floors above and took some shots of the resulting riot!

This is precious and an excellent choice for this challenge. The B&W conversion only lends more strength to an image that says a great deal. A rare opportunity to use selective color and not get berated for it. (I hope that's the case, otherwise, for shame!)
