 These are some of the true Work Horses left in North America, just about everyday during the summer they pull tourists from one end of the island to the other.

It's either ride with these guys, walk, rent or bring your own bicycle to the Island of Mackinac.

Looking back at this photo, I should have framed it slightly differently, I am pleased with the capture of the detail on the horses, but I am not overly pleased with the composition. This was taken at the end of our day, after walking a few miles across the island in the sun.

The detail on the sunlit horse is great but unfortunately the second animal is totally shadowed on my monitor. Did you get any closer images of them? An almost portrait shot of the near horse with all its bridlery(?) would certainly work well with the light that you have here.
