 My little guy loves to cook and he desperately wanted to carve the turkey. My husband got it started but B did a lot of it. I should have taken a picture of how beautifully he laid it all out on the plate too. He's fabulous!

*Oh and I hate how DPC thinks that we all should take pictures in beautiful settings because you know, we don't all live in a studio. This is my life, and this is where we carve the turkey. :)

Whaddya mean you don't live in a studio? You mean to tell me that you don't use your diningroom table, kitchen, basement and everywhere else to set up elaborate lighting set-ups, strobes, reflectors and everything else that goes along with what people "good photography" here in DPC????!!! I'm SHOCKED!!! How DARE you enter a photo like that!

Actually loved this shot, Michelle. Shows the determination on B-Man's face. He's actually doing quite a fine job too. Can he come carve my turkey at Christmas?

BTW...it looks like a really moist bird. Bet it was yummy. Kudos to you and B. :)

love the expression, cc. we too carve our beasties in the kitchen, forsaking the formal carving knife for the wonderkitchenknife. (you the lucky parent).

How wonderful to have such a young and masterful carver! I think I'd have cropped the top down to his middle finger... to emphasize the Feast part a bit better.

I like the idea of capturing a youngster tackling the responsibility of carving the turkey. I think the background is a bit distracting, though.
