 I live in the country next to a FABULOUS butcher shop - just far enough away that they can't see me and close enough to walk to to get bread/milk/MEAT etc.... Warrington Farms, Dillsburg, Pa. only neighbor I talk to.....they make fabulous sausages and smoked things....(yeah that too....) My male dog Buddy....does NOT like smoked meats...I hung the smoked turkey in the morning light before guests arrived and I pretty much had to GET him to approach it....so no...he didn't eat it!!!! BTW it's the same turkey in nikonjeb's shot...."Da Bird" not deep fried.....smoked!

Oho, so this is your dog?! Buddy was a very good model, for he looks truly interested in the smoked turkey, very light on his feet. Someone else has a beautiful golden dog (imagine that?), can't remember who I'm thinking of. Anyway, yours did very well. Good job! Glad you enjoyed mine, I like it too, I think it was a little too whimsical for most voters.

I think I recognize this dog, but I can't remember which photog belongs to her. And I agree, that bird looks gooood!
