Hi Paula, nice to see you pop up at DPC! The stress of finding the time to take a picture and do it well for the weekly challenges is part of the fun here. Also you got a lot of great comments, which is often not the case elsewhere.

i kinda like this...I think it would be a really exceptional abstract if you cropped the bown out all together. kind of like alien pods floating in goo. very cool just the same |

ready for the oven. Try cropping a bit off the bottom. |

This is maybe the strangest comp in the group...if I just stare at it, it almost seems to be breathing. Obviously a pre-oven shot. Not sure, but I think the bowl detracts, not because of the smudges but because the white color competes w/the marshmallows. |

Yum, one of my favorite dishes of the season.
I think this could have been well served (no pun intended) with a bit more dramatic lighting. |

I like the idea of this. I wish the marshmallows had already been toasted and the side of the dish wiped a bit. Still, the orange and white make a fun image. |

A classic dish for the holidays. An even classier shot if it was taken after the cooking of the dish! |

Flat lighting and not too interesting content. |
