I was following the Dutch band Dead Neanderthals for a couple of gigs and they were performing with Shining of two of them. So I ended taking some pictures of this cool band.

except for the big screen, a great rock shot

Wow, you really nailed the exposure on this. Well done.

Great image, a shame one of the most prominent members of the crowd is just stood there with his hands in his pockets though! 7

Not much separates this from being a picture of a worship service. Points for making me realize it.

This is a really fabulous concert photo. Its a funny contrast between some of those fans that are way into it and those two in the back that are super mellow about it. I love how the eye bounces back and forth between the singer and the audience, it provides a really nice interaction between the two; same goes for the dark on the left and white on the right. The more I look at this photograph, the more it grows on me. 8

Take away the white rectangle and this would be a fabulous gig shot. Yes you couldn't control that at the time, but during PP and submit it elsewhere online. I love the way the singer separates the white right from the black left.

Great performer shot, it works really well in mono their is a great range of tones across the zone, great pose and I like the motion blur in the finger of the fan, the only thing that lets it down is the person in the foreground who appears to be more interested in reading something in front of him and the unimpressed feel of the three on the right. Anyway, a good shot, hope you do well with it

Very interesting levels of connection with the audience, which, from what I can see, seems almost entirely male. The white rectangle seems to have some mystical purpose, since after all someone is pointing to it. All in all, a fun photograph to explore!

I can hear the music. Really nice.

You did an outstanding job capturing this moment in time, With the low lighting of the crowd I imagine this was not an easy shot to obtain.
