Ooh I want to reach out and pet the pretty pony. Terrific details all around and such depth to the golden hues of the pony. I really love your pics. :)

Not necessarily a typical HDR entry but love this shot a lot. Got an 8 from me. Well done, John!

p.s. It fits the Golden Ratio rule too :P

Congratulations, John. Lovely processing. Takes me back to the Dartmoor ponies of my youth.

Wonderful to see the HDR used for softness. This was a welcome shot to the gallery. Hard to believe, though, that you find this next door to all those gritty street shots. Glad to see it scored well!

Interesting..... this turned out my only 10 in this challenge and I'm not even a real "horsey" person.
I love the HDR effect here - it is so wonderfully subtle, that I'll have to take your word for it. Lovely subject, tones, composition and focus.

This is such a breath of fresh air, John. So radically different from the rest, and a real standout at that. Nice to know that if the puppy doesn't cooperate, you have these guys to fall back on :-)

Love these kind of shots and glad HDR is not overly present but natural enough. Lovely shot and one of my favourites for this challenge. 8

WOW - did the horse stand that still for several rapid fire shots at different exposures? This is really lovely.

A power failure just deleted the comment! I try again. I love the clarity in this and the amount of HDR applied. It might just be tonemapping but the result is great.
