 This was a quick challenge for me. Life events busy, and I didn't want to take another dull photo like my last entry in this challenge last May. So, I decided to stay home and brain storm and put some real emotion into my shot this time. Hope it does well, for me and the "Long Shots". Go team!

Thank you Kathy for helping me with this entry! Kathy took my bright work light and passed it side to side and up and down for the 5 sec exposure.



I had this one entered first, but was not happy with the slight movement of the knife blade and my posture felt a little out of place. I think I entered the right one.

Cool idea and well taken!
Actually I like the outtake much better. The bue hue makes for better tones on the subject skin, the light really spills from the door and the wary pose of the man makes for a more mysterious image. But probalby that's just my taste. Independently from the score, very good idea, congratulations!

This is really cool, although I wish the saturation of the blue on that knife wasn't up so high, at first glance I thought it was a popsicle!

if they are generating that much light behind those doors, you are going to need more than an 8 inch steak knife! I like the blue steel of the knife.
