Taken at Blanchard Springs, people not allowed to enter the stream or spring area to keep it natural. this shot was a bit underexposed, and hand-held! Thanks to the image stablizing lens, I was able to preserve the clarity while traveling with an inpatient spouse!

I like the blur of the water and the soft, pastel green of the lichen. The composition around the rocks is very nice. I think, though, that I would have tried some photos from a lower camera angle to get a more interesting perspective on the rocks. There is little depth in this photo, so it looks a bit flat.

challenge met. i love streams and moss-covered rocks, i also like that you included enough of them (for my taste), especially in comparison to some other entries this week. the focus on the rocks and the moss is good, i see the water is almost blurred. this is one of those few occasions where i'd like to see the exposure times, etc, i wonder if it was possible for you to use a longer shutterspeed and really blur the water (especially the foam on it) w/out blowing the whole picture out. this is still good, though.

Overall a nice shot... I may have been tempted to leave the exposure open a bit more to try to capture a more "silky" feel to the water.

Very nice color on the rocks and leaves. The lichen on the rocks seems like it could have been a bit more focused. DPz

Look at the moss on those rocks! Beautifully sharp and clear. Nice job.

I love the angle of this. It\'s like when viewing it...the viewer is standing in the water. VERY nice ! Shiiizzzam

Good idea, and nice job of not having signs of man. However I don't think this photo is extremely visually appealing, and there is no real point that I can tell to look at. I don't care for the composition and I think this photo could have been done better. I maybe would have approched this photo from a different angle. You met the challenge, but I don't care for the photo. -4

Very nice job of getting only nature in the shot. I like the angle and framing/cropping. The focus seems a bit soft. Not just on the water (which is just fine) but on the moss and leaves too. Lighting looks ok for the shot. Good luck in the challenge.

Looks pretty good, but I think I'd like to have seen less blur in the foreground. That water looks like it should be crystal clear, but the motion blur or focal point seems to take away from it a lot. Otherwise the shot looks good. the lighting seems nice, and feels comforting somehow. Overall not bad.
