 A take-off on an iconic "William Tell" tableau ...

Carved small pumpkin, pierced it with the arrow, and used a miniature apple. Posed it on my tripod in the garden, with trees and bushes in the background, shot wide-open at maximum telephoto to minimize DOF.

-Handheld, manual mode
-Noise-reduction with PictureCooler
-RGB Curve
-Blue/Yellow Curve
-Crop a bit from top, right, and bottom
-Resize
-USM at 12%/48 dia/TH = 0
-USM at 88%/0.8 dia/TH = 5
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 9/10 = 278KB

The images scoring higher than this are perhaps 'better' pictures or more skilful carvings, but this is the first one to make me laugh. Humour doesn't need to be refined and I'm glad this scored higher than a 4. That it really wouldn't have deserved.
