 This is a site outside of Moab, Utah near the Canyonlands area and somewhat near Arches National Park. It's a 2,000 foot drop to the bottom and the Colorado River. I'm phobic about heights, so it was difficult to photograph. The water barely visible at the bottom is part of a salt reclamation project.

The place gets its name from an incident involving cowboys trapping a herd of mustangs on a narrow point jutting out into the canyon, cutting out the horses they wanted to keep and leaving the rest to die of thirst - within sight of the Colorado River 2,000 feet below.
