Makes me itch with wanting to know what's happening out of frame. |

I can't resist how much this looks like a painting. Francis Bacon.

What an image! Just at the limit between photography and painting. And very much like a Bonnard painting.
Perhaps the frame of the door should have been left unprocessed, perhaps the rope ... to leave the impression of just looking through a wavy pane of glass.
In any case, you made a wonderful tale of a dog that stands out.
Same processing with a different subject would be too much of a hybrid. You stopped here at a great point. |

I like the effects of your processing.....I don't even mind the squiggle down on the left....made me laugh for some reason..... I bet you had fun doing this. Did you play with ALL the tools??!!!! lol Actually the more I look at it the more I wonder how much you created in the shot.....keeps my interest...like....what happened to his head? Is that what the shape down left may suggest? I'm stuck on this now. I sooooo prefer this to some of the super glitz eye candy tacky (whoops - puke) shots out there....and there are too many. THIS is what I love. 10 |
