This evergreen is the Eastern Red Cedar. Juniper berries are seen here... however, what you don't know is that without the hand of man, I would not have been able to take this picture as this tree is not indigenous to Texas... :o)

Beautiful contrast between the berries and the green--well done

Great composition. The berries all seem to explode from a central point. The colours are also very rich. DOF is just right to distinguish this bunch of berries from its background. A very good photo.

The focus here seems to be just to the right of dead center on the little green branches. I think I would like to see some of the berries in focus as well. The color and lighting are both very good, and the angle and framing/cropping are ok too. I would just prefer to have a bit more focus. Just a personal preference. I have wondered what these look like. I have friends, who are sisters, and their names are Jasmine, Jonquil and Juniper. Never seen a Juniper before. Thanks. Good luck in the challenge.

An interesting shot -- I like the variety of colors here, and the DOF.

Really neat shot! Nice details, esp. the scaling of the leaf/branches. This is a hard shot due to the wild amount of DOF needed to make everybody happy. I think this is very well done. 9 Swash

Beautiful Color saturation! I would like a little more focus but it really is beautiful just the way it is. Composition is excellent.

Interesting subject, but looks fairly dull to me. I wish you would have pushed up the colors a little bit. The focus looks a little bit soft on the entire subject, but just slightly. The picture and composition isn't all that appealing. It fits the challenge, but I don't care for it. -4

Nice color, not crazy for this focus, but love the colors and light.
