I took all the "standard" wide angle shots as well, but - oddly enough - none captured the true size better than this 200mm tele shot in my opinion.

Magnificent. Reminds me of "The Mission", with Robert DeNiro. I've never seen split toning work this well before. What a great technique for this image. Congrats on the top 10.

Looks like an insignificant little person up there ... contemplating that deep, dark chasm. Interesting light and shadow. I almost expect to hear a voice from the heavens or screams from below. This image certainly got my imagination going! |

OMG.....my reoccuring nightmare from a sideways perspective!.....I was scared to look up and see there really actually were people up there...on the brink......super shot...blow away scale...fantastic lighting! Where is this? |
