Woke up early, took this shot around 7:30 on the pond. (Thats early!) anyhow, this one is dedicated to the 2 adult swans and the 5 babies that successfully made it to migration. This is the first year they have had babies make it. And 5 cygnets none the less! This is mostly dedicated, though, to the dad swan (in the picture) who has been coming to our pond for at least 4 years, and has been a great subject to photograph.

As you can see, his foot is broken, so hopefully he will survive the migration home. So for now him and his mate are staying around our pound, until the finally decide to follow their maturing cygnets.
