 Butcher at work.

Lit by the underground butcher house tubelight.
Converted from RAW in lightroom and then Sharpness adjustment in CS3.

I have no hopes for this shot. My first entry in a free study so I'm clueless what I should enter. Probably end up somewhere around 5.5

This is killer. Pun intended I guess. All I want to do is clean up that blood (meaning it fits the upcoming challenge wonderfully).
IMHO of course. It may not suit the tastes of some, but this is sort of very foreign to what people have come to see (at least here in the states) - because everything is mechanized and invisible. If you could shoot something of this vain again, I think it would be perfect.

Great tonality here for the subject. I tried to crop the top part just below the white line on the background and it's becoming more powerful. What do you think?

very halloween and love the colors, but it seems odd that there is no blood on the knife. If it was dripping a little would have really made this shot a bit more dynamic. I'm not knocking you for it though.
