 straight out of the camera, no adjustments at all. went for a walk around for this challenge with my new 85mm and some extension rings, got some funny looks bending down taking pictures o rubbish etc but was fun challenge, wont win or score high as its not PP. was with 50 feet of my back door, Actually says Post office when they ran all the telephone system, its a man hole cover. 23mm tube on 85mm hand held, natural light. resized in ps export for web... let the 5.4 commense

changed from the original un toned mapped photo for the more DPC look

I like it. It has lots of interest for me. DPC should stop catering to the instant gratification crowd.

No comments - probably because it comes across as a meh picture. It soft-of falls into the "What is it?" category, and with the word being mostly upside down, requires some effort and thought to figure out. Then, there is no real relation between the word and the image.
For me, the technicals are good, but there is no clear meaning or message, so it is hard to relate to.

...what do I win? ;-)

I didn't score this one during the challenge. If I had, woulda been a six. It's technically excellent, but doesn't scream street macro and has only moderate interest to me. ...says the guy who entered a cigarette butt. :) I like the color and certainly the DoF though.
