Thanks for nice comments to those that left them. A bit weird to almost get a 7 score and only have 4 comments during the challenge - but I appreciate every one of them.

Another big THANK YOU to RianBotes for taking me on the hike to the Drakensberg Mountains here in South Africa. I had an awesome time and enjoyed every minute of it. Another thanks to him for lighting up the tent from the inside and to his friend Charles for standing nice and still for 30 seconds in the image used for the land.

Was see-sawing up and under 7 all week but I am thrilled to achieve my highest score to date on DPC... even if it is an expert editing challenge.

Great image Steve! This was actually my favorite of the challenge and my only 10. I thought for sure it would ribbon.
Alas it was not to be, but what a strong entry anyways. You should check out the photographer "Jimmy Chin". This image reminds me a lot of his work.

This is beautiful and well done. I like how the light from the tent helps blend with the transition from night to day. I also like the dark figure on the left and how he appears to be watching the sunrise. Great pic.

Fabulous!!!! Great glow in the tents. If anything, the meeting of the skies is the only weakness for me, and not as gracefully handled as the rest of the image.

:) Lovely shot and it works for me. Some banding in the top right corner but not that noticeable. I wont vote on this since I will def be biased..:) I hope this does well for you.
