Just ran across this. It's truly stunning. I like the "under the plant" perspective. Great job. The detail and coloration is just lovely. |

I like your original point of view here. The stem lines definitely lead your eye through the picture and the petals of the orchids are lovely! |

lovely. although I feel upside down. maybe that is good because it is "out of the box". perhaps flipped horizontal to make the diagonal work toward the right rather than the left would make me feel better.
the details of the soft texture of the petals, and the muted colors all work together with the canopy feel, however. makes me feel I am seeing a private side to nature, under it's umbrella of protection.
nice work all around!

Lovely and delicate - I particularly like that you've chosen to show the back of the flower, not the front - the dark line of the stem leads the eye from flower to flower (wish the curve at the top wasn;t cropped so tight!). The lighting illuminates the petals and the washed out white of the background is an effectve background. 8 |

great image. the patterns and play of colour on the petals are quite amazing. but, the harsh light seems to diffuse the colour of the stem. i think that a much better effect and balance would be achieved by a softer allowing for vivid colours and nice contrast between them. |

I like the pattern of the stem against the backdrop of the flowers. Focus works nicely. DOF a bit too shallow to catch most of the stem. Beautiful photo. Congratulations. |

Absolutely exquisite! I love the colors, the way they are dark in the center and fade to pale at the edges. I love the lines I follow from top to bottom but the delicat curve of the lowerr stems leads me back into the picture. I love the implied texture of the petalss which is really just a pattern, the pteals are smooth. sooo nice - 10 of course |

Black background might have been more apprpriate. Why not faceing us? |

Good composition. Is the softness of some petals intended? |
