I've been back to view this photo several times now during voting. I'm increasingly convinced that the power lines just detract too much from the overall simplicity of the image. You've composed a lovely shot that has everything going for it but the power lines are a killer. Their presence is distracting, especially where they get overwhelmed by the deep orange hues just above the sun's disk. Still an excellent photo worth of this challenge and with many powerful qualities. 7.

I wondered if you used a filter to get that neon red sky? Great photo with excellent lines and the classic three objects to create balance and eye movement around the focal point sun. Thanks!
