 This was an attempt at portraying a form of street scene in a wooded area. Using a fixed focus lens (85mm) and wide aperture (f2) I was trying to capture some nice bokeh when I noticed two shapes in the distance that looked like riders on horses. I waited for them but they never got closer nor further until the light changed. I put the whole thing down to an optical illusion.

I have admired this photo several times. This morning I found the riders and horses. I like your story.

The horses did not jump at me. I am left with a lovely little scene of girl and dog.

Don't know how to rate this -- I do see what appears to be two horseback riders coming toward the girl. Are they really that or just a play of light? It does matter, I think, for the challenge but either way they are not dominant enough in the image for a higher score from me.
