 A little wading bird, a plover and thus related to killdeer etc. This plover was very cooperative and gave us a ton of good shots.

Wildlife work is gaining popularity though on DPC, keep it up. Stunning image and composition, catchlight, pose, DOF, all well executed. Perhaps a tad central, still a 7 from me.
